base de données - différents monngodb version pour windows et linux 32 bits - Stack Overflow

I have downloaded and installed mongodb 32 for both windows and debian linux 32 bit but it seems linux version is much older than linux .I downloaded and installed mongodb with apt-get command and also direct downloaded from mongodb website but result in linux are the same .

windows version :

C:\mongodb\bin>mongod --version db version v2.4.8 Tue Feb 18 20:47:57.133 git version: a350fc38922fbda2cec8d5dd842237b904eafc14

linux version :

root@debian:~# mongod --version db version v1.4.4, pdfile version 4.5 Tue Feb 18 12:39:27 git version: nogitversion

i also checked web interface and results was same in 127.0.0.1:28017. i unzipped mongodb from mongodb-linux-i686-2.4.9.tgz and run it .
